What's Happening When

8:00-8:30  Floats and people line up for parade Kokernot Park by the swimming pool. Kids on decorated bikes are encouraged!!

9:00 Farmers Market opens. Today at the Brewster County Courthouse instead of the regular location!

10:00  Parade starts -- route is from Kokernot Park, down 5th Street, right on Sul Ross to the courthouse.

10:30 Booths/Activities on the courthouse lawn start -- APD mans the drop-off location on Avenue E, just west of 6th Street. 

11:00 National Anthem and Boy Scouts pledge

11:00 Turn-in time for Cooking Competition 1: Best Baked Good (turn-in at Farmers Market booth)

11:15 Big Bend Community Band plays

11:30 Judging, Cooking Competition 1: Best Baked Good

11:45 Parade float winners announced 

12:00 American Legion BBQ lunch $20 a plate (they put out signs on the lawn and they do ads on the radio)

12:00 Turn-in time for Cooking Competition 2: Preserved Perfection (turn-in at Farmers Market booth)
